We exist for the city.

( Who we are )

Our
mission
& vision.

RoyalHouse Chapel is a Spirit-filled church in Washington, DC with one driving conviction — that God can use anyone.

We exist to find the people this city has overlooked, the ones still searching, the ones who have given up, the ones who never knew they were called — and help them discover that their life has a purpose far greater than they imagined.

Our Mission

Raising vessels God can use.

The name Vessels Center was not chosen by accident. It comes from 2 Timothy 2:21, a passage about ordinary people who are cleansed, set apart, and made useful in the hands of God. That is the heartbeat of everything we do.

Washington, DC is one of the most powerful cities on earth. It is also a city full of people who are searching for something they cannot name. We believe that something is God. And we believe the church is supposed to go find them.

Our mission is simple. We gather people, we grow people, and we send people back into their families, their workplaces, and their communities as vessels through which God changes the world.

Our Values

What we are built on.

These are not words on a wall. They are the standard we hold ourselves to every single day, in every room, with every person who walks through our doors.

01

Reliability

We show up. We follow through. We do what we say we are going to do. When you are part of this house, you can count on the people around you.
02

Loyalty

We are committed to one another through every season. Not just when it is convenient. The kind of loyalty this house is built on runs deep and stays long.
03

Respect

Every person who walks through our doors carries the image of God. We treat people that way. With dignity, with honor, and with the genuine belief that their life matters.
04

Servant Leadership

The leaders in this house serve. Full stop. Whether someone is on the worship team, greeting at the door, or organizing outreach across the city, leadership here looks like a towel over the arm, not a title on a door.

What we believe

Rooted in the Word.

We are a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church. Our faith is built on the truth of Scripture and the reality of a God who is still moving, still speaking, and still transforming lives today.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is our foundation for everything we teach, everything we practice, and every decision we make as a church.

God

We believe in one God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three persons, one God, eternally present and actively involved in the lives of people.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of humanity, and rose from the dead on the third day. He is the only way to the Father.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present-day work of the Holy Spirit, who lives inside every believer, empowers them to live a godly life, and equips them with spiritual gifts for the building up of the church and the reaching of the world.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned. It cannot be lost. It is the grace of God extended to every person who believes.

The Church

We believe the local church is God's primary vehicle for reaching the world. It is not a building. It is a body of people called together, built up, and sent out to make the name of Jesus known.

Pastor Henry, Lead Pastor of RoyalHouse Chapel

Our Leaders

Called to this city.

Pastor Henry Laurent-Mantey did not arrive in Washington, DC by accident. His calling to this city was forged through years of ministry, prayer, and a burden that grew into something he could no longer contain.

Before RoyalHouse Chapel, Pastor Henry served as a chaplain at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where he witnessed firsthand what happens when people run out of time to find hope. Young men from across DC arriving in trauma bays. Families sitting in waiting rooms with no one to turn to. That season did not break him. It focused him.

Out of that burden came a vision. A church that would go after the people the city had left behind. A house where the seeker could encounter God, the believer could grow deeper, and the leader could be equipped and sent. That vision is RoyalHouse Chapel.

Pastor Henry leads this house alongside his wife, who stands with him in faith, in family, and in the mission of this church. Together they have built something rare in this city. A community that is genuinely warm, spiritually alive, and unashamed about what it believes and who it is for.

If you have been searching for a pastor who will tell you the truth, love you without condition, and preach the Word without apology, you have found your house.
